Buffalo Wild Wings.... Not so wild about you!

Visited Buffalo Wild Wings and many people know that I have often slammed their service in the last few years and today was no exception. I ordered a basket of buffalo chips as an appetizer and might I add, we were one of 4 tables occupied in the restaurant at 2:15 for lunch. 25 MINUTES LATER.... french fries arrived. We were there until 3:20 and got one drink- no refills.  Someone from the kitchen brought our food up and we never saw our server again until it was time to bring the check, I told her I wanted a lid for my salad which I never touched and we waited15 minutes for her to come back with no lid. She had one request, bring a lid. Is it really that hard?????????? Then we waited another 13 minutes for her to come back and tell me they no longer had salad lids. I  had ask if I could substitute a side salad for the fries that came with my wings since I had expected to get my appetizer chips as an appetizer and she said sure. Unfortunately fries came out with the meal and she charged me for the salad  If it wasn't for those dang parmesean garlic and Asian zing wings, I would never go back and I am almost at that point.

House of Dragon on the UT Cumberland strip is one undiscovered gem! I visited with my hubby, daughter, a family friend, and her 18 month old old son. We were welcomed immediately and although the restaurant was empty on a Sunday night at 8:00, we didn't feel as if we were going to be hustled out so the staff could go home. The waitress struggled a bit with her English but made up for that in her smile and pleasantness. She cooed to my friend's son and she hustled back and forth at a quick pace to ge tour egg rolls, soup and drinks.  All of which took less than 3 minutes! She was efficient and the food portions were large and steaming hot. If you don't eat much or aren't sharing, I would recommend skipping the plates and just getting a box of rice which covers an entire dinner plate. General Tsos chicken was 8.95 but a plate of rice was 2.95! Sometimes I like a lighter meal and this fit the bill. The waitress brought candy to the table to share with the children.

Don Pablo's -Ole oh NO!

Visited Don Pablo's today around 5:00 for an early dinner. The first mistake was setting our party of 3 in a booth for 2. The waiter failed to bring me water and lemon despite asking 3 times for it. Apparently Friday was sans lemon day! There were a grand total of 7 tables seated in the restaurant and our server had our table and one other. We waited for 25 minutes for the first of my bottomless soup to appear, and a whopping 45 minutes for a kids enchilada, rice and beans. I guess the enchiladas were hard to catch ??? The hubby's first bowl of soup came out but we had to rejected the restaurant's freebie included with the soup, a lovely black hair floating in the chicken tortilla soup.
To the manager's credit he did comp our bill but this restaurant has consistently delivered bad food over our last 5 visits and despite revolving management fails to get it right.
Pros: a feisty lunchtime waitress named Angela, daily all you can eat specials for a reasonable price, if the food is hot and hairless, it usually tastes good. If problems occur management is really good about solving it for you but most of the problems should be solved in the food quality, servers, and cooks before it reaches the customer's table. I have a mild allergy to bell peppers and despite ordering pepper free fajitas on two occasions, they have made their way to my table steaming hot and liberally laced with peppers
